2025 Spring Fireside

On Wednesday, April 23, at 5:30 PM artist Chintia Kirana gave a short talk on her work in the context of the principle of unity in diversity. 

Chintia Kirana is a multidisciplinary contemporary artist, curator, and arts leader born in Jakarta, Indonesia. Her artistic practice spans both private and public spheres through socially engaged, community-based projects that explore themes of identity and the passage of time. Chintia’s work often involves collaboration and participation, highlighting art as a powerful means of communication and social change. She holds an M.F.A. in Painting and Drawing from Southern Illinois University Carbondale (2015).
