2023 Race Unity Exhibit
Race Unity was celebrated in June with an exhibit of books that explore race relations at the downtown branch of the Montgomery City-County Public Library.
Baha’is of North America invite all committed to race unity to celebrate this spiritual principle on the second Sunday of June each year. Race Unity Day was started in 1957 by the National Spiritual Assembly of Baha’is of the United States - the annually elected governing council of the American Baha’i community. In 2023, the Baha’is of Montgomery honor the day with a picnic and the month of June with a display of books at the Morgan Memorial Library with the question: can books help to promote understanding between people with different stories?
